The Infidelity ER is exactly what the name implies: An Emergency Room for anyone who is affected by infidelity, one way or the other. When experiencing a personal crisis, we are all helped by a clear structure that help us understand, but also create a visual picture of the change ahead. Therefore the Infidelity ER is constructed in five different processes that can be followed step by step.

You will receive help and support to handle both feelings and behaviors through every step of the different phases; from suspected to confirmed infidelity and further on to repairing the relationship. There are also two following processes that help you build a stronger, more open and happy relationship, as well as increasing your own awareness. You get advice, support and knowledge, and the possibility to write down your own thoughts and reflections, anonymous of course. You will also get access to a chat where you can ask personal questions about specific circumstances that you need help to understand. The Infidelity ER is available in your mobile phone whenever you need it, and works as a guide through the different phases that inevitably follow infidelity, but also as an “education” in handling relationships and your own emotional luggage.
You get an opportunity to browse through the app, read introductions and an extensive Q&A, before deciding if you want to subscribe.

Background
The Infidelity ER is created by Anneli Östling and based on scientific models of psychology and extensive research on relationships. Anneli works as a couples therapist and are specialized on problems related to infidelity, with many years of experience. Earlier in her career she worked with risk analysing within change- and development processes at big companies. That experience has affected her way to trust distinct and structured processes in her work as therapist as well. More information about sources of facts, research and inspiration is available within the app.
In the Infidelity ER you are guided, individually or as a couple, step by step through the same processes as at the therapists office. The purpose of the app is to reach more people in need of support, who might not have the possibility, resources, time or will to attend a therapists office
